BIO     Alice Clements is a native of Murfreesboro, TN and a life long member of North Boulevard Church of Christ, where she attends with her husband, Eric, of 14 years. There, she serves as the praise team coordinator and weekly singer on the praise team. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance from MTSU, and a Masters of Music degree in Vocal Performance from University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music. Her professional performance experience ranges from classical oratorio and opera, to musical theater, to contemporary Christian music. Mrs. Clements has been teaching private voice lessons for the past 15 years, and is currently a homeschool mom of her three children.

Course Description/Outline/Objectives: In this class, we will begin the semester by learning healthy, good, singing techniques, as well as the basics of reading vocal music. We will learn several different choral pieces, using increasingly complex harmonies as we progress. The semester will end with a Christmas themed choral concert in the auditorium of North Boulevard. All experience levels are welcome, from beginner to expert.

Expected Weekly Time Commitment for Homework: 2 hours of practice outside of class/week
